"... what the fuck is the Prime Minister doing apologizing to the aboriginal community for the predicament they find themselves in? Why is he saying it's to the shame of all Canadians that such a sad state of affairs exists?... White guilt has caused us to create a caretaker system that didn't rob them of their dignity as the flaming liberals like to cry but rather fostered the illusion that their culture had any dignity left to lose... in essence, allowed them to pretend and act as if history never happened... people who allow empty illusions to govern their lives usually come to grief... I guess you could contend that history gave them a raw deal, but history gave a lot of people raw deals... I imagine there are plenty worse fates in the universe than having your stagnant, less than dynamic, somewhat retrograde and possibly not tenable no matter what culture turned into an afterthought by the glories of Western European culture... but hey, they insist on pretending that didn't happen, so be it... just don't see why the consequences of such a dysfunctional point of view should be any concern of mine..."
