The unspoken spin still is that Obama fails with white voters because of
racism whereas the truth is that he's failing with middle of the road white voters because he is too liberal. It obviously behooves Obama campaign to keep the racism ploy alive but ostensibly unmentioned by
them - surrogates are welcomed to talk it up endlessly -
and this is how they have been playing the race card all along.
