- ... but you can say basically the same re Hillary, yes? That you should vote for her because she's more electable? Is that really a reason to vote for someone, simply because she stands a better chance of winning than the black guy? Certainly just as shallow as promises of 'hope'.
- could be, but would all depend on why she's more electable. If it's because she's less liberal then that would be a reflection of the types of policies she would pursue and therefore electability in that context becomes valid; whereas if it was simply about her being white then of course you'd have a muddle. But it's not about her being white.
